Dallas Marie Howard

Dallas Marie "Mom" Trent Howard , 86, of Maple Fork, WV went to be with her Lord to play and sing with the angels on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Hilltop Center in Hilltop, WV. Born August 28, 1921 at Pemberton, WV she was the daughter of the late Leonard E. and Viola Bailey Trent. Mrs. Howard was a faithful and trusted member of the Pax Church of God where she played the piano and was church treasurer and janitor for many years. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Howard, two sisters, Goldie Hill and Manota Akers and three brothers, Harry Trent, Earl Trent and Lane Edward Trent. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Underwood and husband, Ned of Maple Fork and Diana Liller and husband, Douglas of Gillette, Wyoming; one stepson, Ronnie L. Howard and wife, Joann of Gassaway and two brothers, Leonard "Junior" Trent and wife, Jennie of Maple Fork and Roy Trent and wife, Ruth of Lilly Dale. She is also survived by four grandchildren, James Eric Underwood and wife, Melissa of Maple Fork, Leslie Liller Trahe and husband, Michael of Clermont, FL, Michelle Liller Dubousky of Gillette, WY and Shawn Howard of Nashville, TN and one great grandson, Jacob Gadrow of Gillette, WY. Dallas will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends, especially the staff at the Hilltop Nursing Home. Services will be on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Dwayne Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
