Curtis Junior Aliff, 72, of Scarbro, WV died on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at his home following an extended illness. Born August 12, 1931 at Ingram Branch, WV he was the son of the late Andrew and Virgie Settle Aliff. Mr. Aliff was a member of the Mossy Worship Center, Mossy, WV. He served in the US Army during Korean Conflict and was a disabled carpenter. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Kay Aliff; daughters, Angela Wray of Hopewell, VA and Christina Marie Lockett of Tennessee; special nephews, Larry Snuffer and wife, Toney, Jerry Snuffer and wife, Sharon, William Snuffer and wife, Teresa, and Dennis Snuffer and wife, Pam; niece, Twila Sue Cassell and husband, Gene, and by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Special thanks is given to the Pennington family. Visitation will be held at Mossy Worship Center, Mossy, WV on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at 1:00 pm at Mossy Worship Center in Mossy with Rev. Terry Damron officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV with military graveside rites by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802.
