Cora Lee White

Cora Lee Chambers White, 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, August 01, 2008 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born March 12, 1933 at Logan County, WV she was the daughter of the late Ben and Betty Sheppard Chambers. She was a homemaker. A daughter, Virginia Helmick preceded her in death on September 18, 2000. Survivors include four sons, Clifford Chambers of Benson, NC, Emorey Ray Williams of Ohio, William Fred Adkins of Los Angles, CA and Billy Joe Adkins of Kentucky and four daughters, Ruby Caldwell of Logan, Tammy Williams of Montgomery, Jewel Williams of South Carolina and Christy Williams of Oak Hill. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and two special friends, William Nichols and Judy Nelson. A visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 4:00-6:00 pm with cremation to follow. There will be no funeral service.
