Cora Bailey Graley

Cora E. Bailey Graley, 82, of Clear Creek, WV died on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born May 10, 1922 at Raleigh County, WV she was the daughter of the late Oliff and Meadie Ewings Bailey. Mrs. Graley attended the Pax Advent Church, Pax, WV and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Graley, Sr.; a son, Ira Graley; a great grandson, Christopher Graley; and four brothers, Vernon, Leonard and Andrew Bailey. Survivors include four sons, Ernest Graley, Jr. and wife, Juanita, of Clear Creek, Jerry Graley and wife, Connie, of Clear Creek, Jimmy Graley and wife, Karen, of Boissevain, VA and Roger Graley and wife, Sherry of Glen Daniels; one brother, Eugene Bailey of Mount Hope; six sisters, Evelyn Robinson of Melvindale, Michigan, Ethel Taylor of Robson, Edith Taylor of Page, Linda Toney of Crestline, OH, Helen Blevins of South Gap, VA and Betty Lou Laxton of Mooresville, NC; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a special friend, Audrey Williams. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, February 26, 2005, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church. Services will be on Sunday, February 27, 2005, at 3:00 pm at Ewing Creek Church in Ewing Creek with Rev. Jerry Tyree and Rev. Jimmy Elmore officiating. Burial will be at Ewing Creek Cemetery, Ewing Creek WV.
