Connie Griffith

Connie Griffith, 70, of Bradley, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at B.A.R.H., Beckley, WV. Born January 17, 1940, at Lochgelly, WV, he was the son of the late Coonie and Mamie Tucker Griffith. He was a member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church. He was also a retired coal miner from Calvert Coal Company, Beckley, WV, and a member of UMWA, District 29. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Earl “Price,” Jesse, Michael, Lonnie “Donnie” and Eugene Griffith, and sister: Ernestine Bowyer. Survivors include two sisters: Edna Mae Rzucidlo of St. Petersburg, FL, and Patsy Lenzer of Brook Park, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church, Bradley, WV, with the Revs. Daniel Legg and Wayne Peters officiating.
