Connie Lynn Edwards

Connie Lynn Persinger Edwards, 73, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born September 1, 1950 in Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late Richard Carlton and Mary Evelyn Pennington Persinger.

Connie was a homemaker, she was a member of the Harvey Chapel United Methodist Church on Gatewood. in her leisure she enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and playing games on her phone especially candy crush.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Persinger; sisters, Loretta Myles, Nora Ann Dooley, and Mary Ruth Freeman; and brothers, Harold Persinger, David Persinger, Richard Persinger, and Alfred Persinger.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her brother, James Persinger (Kay); sister, Barbara Lavender; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Harvey Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Kelly Martin officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service at the church.
