Connie Jo Craddock

Connie Jo Duncan Craddock, 85, of Mount Hope passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley.

Born December 26, 1938 in Scarbro, WV to the late Clarence W. and Mary Madeline Wees Duncan.

Connie was a graduate from Mount Hope High School, she owned her businesses the Bowl Wick Restaurant where she cooked and was the bowling league secretary, she also owned Blue Bird Cafe in Darien, GA,. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Everette L. Craddock; children, Clifford Craddock, Loretta Devine, and Debra Sue Craddock; sisters, Barbara Underwood, Mary Sue Norment, and Nancy Duncan; brothers, Billy Duncan, Clarence Duncan, Jr., and James Duncan.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving son, James Craddock; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremiah), Shawn Craddock (Ashley) and Connie Jo Anders great grandchildren, Shyann, Levi, Jacob, Samantha, De'Anna, Shawn Jr., Isabella, Paige, Taylor and Braydon; sisters, Ruby Swigart and Patty Logan; brothers, John Duncan, and David Duncan; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope. Burial will follow at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax, WV.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.
