Conard Wriston

Conard Raymond Wriston, 74, of Scarbro, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 07, 2004, at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following an exteneded illness. Born February 18, 1929 at Krebbs, WV he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary Ushley Wriston. Mr. Wriston was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and the Fayette County Retired School Employees. He was retired from the Fayette County Board of Education having been the custodian at the Fayette Plateau Vocational-Technical Center in Oak Hill. He served in the US Air Force. Survivors include wife of 53 years, Bettie L. Bragg Wriston son, Raymond Lee Wriston of Lewisburg beloved brother, Douglas Wriston of Chillicothe, OH Sisters: Lorine Shuemake of Beards Fork, Della Coleman of Kilsyth, Rosemary Madeline Ward of Scarbro and Loretta Hess Johnson of Cape Coral, FL special cousin and friend, Cecil Stover of Mossy and by many nieces and nephews whom he loved Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, January 10, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Sunday, January 11, 2004, at 2:00pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill iwith Rev. Bernie Jernigan and Rev. Randy Black officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
