Clyde Austin Ervin, Jr.

Clyde Austin Ervin, Jr, age 65, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, following a brief but valiant health battle. 

Clyde Austin was born on July 06, 1959 in Oak Hill to parents Clyde Austin Ervin, Sr and Barbara Ann Brabban Ervin, was a 1977 graduate of Collins High School, and worked in the family business, Allied Exterminating Company, until he became disabled. 

Clyde Austin is predeceased by his parents, his maternal grandparents William Brabban, Gracealee Bowyer (Brabban) Murdock and step grandfather, James A. Murdock, Sr; his paternal grandparents, Adrian Ervin and Irene Mullins (Steele) Ervin; and his brother, James Donald Ervin. 

Clyde Austin is survived by his son, C. Austin Ervin, III; his beloved granddaughter, Emma Grace Ervin; his brother, William Keith Ervin and wife, Terri; numerous cousins, extended family, and friends; and his caretaker, Carolyne Postle. 

Per Clyde Austin’s wishes, there will be no public services.
