Clyde Dixon

Clyde Baker Dixon, 85, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a short illness. Born April 17, 1918 at Alderson, WV he was the son of the late Charles and Esta Bryant Dixon. Mr. Dixon was retired from Chrysler Corporation, Detroit, MI with 26 years services. He was an avid golfer and bowler and resided in Oak Hill for 14 years. Survivors include wife, Opal Marie Ervin Dixon son, Sidney Dixon of Cookville, TN daughters, Brenda Frazier of Denver, CO and Donna Weaver of Detroit, MI step-son, Jack Adkins of Davidson, MI step-daughters, Janet Weyant of Sevierville, TN and Linda Srednicki of Oak Hill brothers, Clarence Dixon of Cedar Grove and Luther Dixon of Hesperia, CA 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Thursday, January 29, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, January 30, 2004, at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Richard Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop WV.
