Clifford Bartley Sexton

Clifford Bartley Sexton, age 37, of Gatewood Road, Fayetteville, WV, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at his mother's home. Born August 27, 1973, at Beckley, WV, he was the son of Elsie Louise Rhodes Sexton of Fayetteville and the late Clifford Franklin Sexton. Clifford was a 1991 graduate of Fayetteville High School and also a graduate of WVU Institute of Technology with a Associate in Science in 2000. He enjoyed doing a few summers of whitewater photography and also enjoyed camping and fishing. Clifford was currently employed by N.S.A. Chase Co. as a field services representative of Knoxville, TN. He attended the Pleasant View Brethren Church at Rt.,1 Fayetteville, WV. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edna and Earnest Sexton and Henry and Cleo Rhodes. Surviving in addition to his mother, Elsie Rhodes Sexton, of Fayetteville are his brother, Robert Michael Persinger and his wife, Della of Fayetteville, his two sisters, Susan Elaine Persinger and companion, Paul Gilkerson of Edmond and Judith Belle Pennington and her husband, Everette of Fayetteville, three Nephews, Michael Andrew Persinger, Bryan Michael Persinger, Steven Gerald Pennington, and a niece, Meredith Renee' Pennington. Also surviving are two great nephews, Dustin Dooley and Christan Treadway,and three great nieces, Hayley Pennington, Savannah Pennington and Kaylynn Persinger. Funeral services will b held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Scott Lester and Rev. Eddie Persinger officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 12:30 P.M. until the service hour of 2:30 P.M.
