Clarence "Buddy" Woodrow Duncan, Jr. , 65, of Mount Hope, WV died on Sunday, June 08, 2008 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born November 20, 1942 at Stotesbury, WV he was the son of the late Clarence Woodrow "Joe" Duncan, Sr. and Mary Madeline Wees Duncan. He was a disabled construction worker. Buddy was a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. A brother, James "Jimmy" Duncan and one sister, Nancy Kay Duncan preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Woodrow Duncan, III of Pratt and Danny Dean Duncan of Kilsyth; two daughters, Nena Beavers of Chapin, SC and Sharon Humphrey and husband, Charles of Marmet; three brothers, Billy Ray Duncan and wife, Donna of Maple Fork, John Samuel "Sammy" Duncan of Oak Hill and David Michael "Mike" Duncan of Columbus, OH; five sisters, Barbara James of Sand Branch, Connie Jo Craddock of Maple Fork, Mary Sue Norment and husband, Herbert of Heflin, LA, Ruby Carol Swigart and husband, Frank of Diamond, OH and Patty Logan and husband, Sameul of Mount Hope; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville with Pastor Robert Barley officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
