Clara E. Wriston

Clara Evelyn Aliff Wriston, 87, of Scarbro, WV died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 31, 1921 at Sweetwood, WV she was the daughter of the late Brad and Charolette Scarbro Aliff. Mrs. Wriston attended the Mossy Advent Church many years ago and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Layton Wriston and an infant son, Wilbur Wriston. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Wriston of Oak Hill, Carlos Wriston of Mossy and David Wriston of Mossy; two daughters, Naomi Wriston and husband, Bryant of Mossy and Evelyn Davis and husband, Brenton of Mossy; one brother, Milton "Buck" Aliff of Mossy; seven grandchldren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Saturday December 20, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the Aliff Cemetery in Mossy with Rev. Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will follow.
