Clara "Dukie" Reece

Clara “Dukie” Dwier Reece, 81, of Lochgelly died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her home after a long illness. Born July 29, 1929 at Clifton Forge, VA, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Clara Belle Dwier. She was a homemaker, was of the Protestant faith, and a past member of four bowling leagues in Oak Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Reece, Sr. on March 15, 1999 and fifteen brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son, Billy Ray Reece, Jr. and his wife, Jenny of Oak Hill; one daughter, Linda Kay Cochran of Lochgelly; one sister, Dorothy Staples of Bradley; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Mausoleum in Prosperity. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
