Christopher Jordan Adkins

Christopher Jordan Adkins, 13, of Maple Fork, WV went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. He was born on February 26, 1996 in Beckley and was a 6th grade student at Stratton Middle School. His Great Grandpa, Joseph Agnew and PawPaw Howard Adkins preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are his mom, Crystal Adkins and her boyfriend, Kevin Crosby; Grandma, Rebecca Adkins of Maple Fork; Great Grandma, Lela Agnew of Beaver Falls, PA; uncle and aunt, Howard Adkins, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Maple Fork; aunt, Lisa Adkins of Sand Branch and his cousin and best friend, Aaron Adkins of Sand Branch. Many other family members, a host of friends and a very special four-legged buddy, “Lexi”, also survive him. Services will be on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Richard Midkiff and Rev. James Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Gary McGuire, Jerry McGuire, Brian McGuire, Dennis Walls and Phil Williams will serve as pallbearers.
