Christelle L. Slemp Bailey

Christelle Laverne Slemp Bailey , 99, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, August 06, 2012 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV. Born July 26, 1913 at Olinger, VA she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rebecca Reasor Slemp. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Harold Bailey preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Pauletta Bess of Oak Hill and Phyllis Wallace of New Port News, VA, four grandchildren, Christopher W. Via, Jeffrey H. Wallace of New Port News, VA, Kevin A. Bess of Oak Hill and Craig E. Bess of Shady Spring and ten great grandchildren. Per her request, Mrs. Bailey's body was donated to the Human Gift Registry at the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
