Chris O. Hinte

Chris O. Hinte, Jr., 89, of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at his home. Born May 24, 1917 at Sun, WV he was the son of the late Chris Hinte, Sr. and Dorothy Holstein Hinte. Mr. Hinte was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church, the UMWA and the United Masonary Union. His wife, Minnie Edna Meddings Hinte and one son, Kenneth Lee Hinte preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Chistine Woolwine and husband, Lowe of Price Hill, WV and Mary Ellen Bowling of Bradley, WV; three brothers, Eugene Hinte of Kilsyth, WV, Arnold Hinte of Cleveland, OH and Donald Hinte of Pomeroy, OH; one sister, Margie Cimala of Beckley, WV and by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, December 22, 2006 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Robert Barley officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
