Charlotte Maxine Waters

Charlotte Maxine Waters, 72, of Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born September 11, 1934 at Carbondale, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Flodie Moore Waters. She was the retired custodian for the Fayetteville United Methodist Church. Maxine was of the the Baptist faith and a volunteer for the Fayetteville Food Pantry. A brother, Freddie Waters and three sisters, Veda Craigo, June Bays and Norma Castle preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, David Waters and wife, Carol of Fayetteville, WV and Lionel Waters and wife, Angie of Oak Hill, WV; one daughter, Susan Woodson of Fayetteville, WV; two sisters, Beulah Smith of Alabama and Isabelle Nutter of Deepwater, WV; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. Services will be on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville WV.
