Charles "Chuck" Webb

Rev. Charles "Chuck" Ray Webb, 55, of Oak Hill, WV was carried home by the angels on Thursday, July 07, 2005 following a long illness. Born August 05, 1949 at Minden, WV he was the son of Sara Elizabeth Nugen Webb of Oak Hill, WV and the late Charles Nelson Webb. He was a disabled WV State Mine Division, Dept of Energy Inspector. Chuck was a Baptist minister having been licensed in December 1982. He pastored Horseshoe Baptist Church from June 1984 to June 1988, Keeney Creek Baptist from January to July 1989 and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church from October 1989 until June 2004. He was the former youth director for the Hopewell Baptist Association. Survivors include wife, Wanda Anita Garrett Webb; one son, Charles S. "Charlie" Webb and wife, Tracy, of Oak Hill; one daughter, Mary Ann Webb Hunziker and husband, Todd, of Montvale, VA; one sister, Kathy Bowyer and husband, Jim, of Hurricane, WV; four grandchildren, Cameron and Zachary Webb and Luke and Sam Hunziker. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Saturday, July , 2005, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Winston O'Neal and Rev. Bill Withers officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
