Charles Edward "Spank" Duncan, Sr. , 71, of Minden, WV died on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, WV. Born January 02, 1939 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late David Duncan, Sr. and Hannah Deck Duncan. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, Della Duncan; two sons, Charles E. Duncan, Jr. and wife, Kimberly of Minden and Jerry Lee Duncan and wife, Sheila of Dawsonville, GA; four daughters, Barbara DeLuca of Lakewood, OH, Linda Wilson of Fayetteville, Deborah Reece and husband, Kennyof Cummings, GA and Marilyn Brooks and husband, David of Cummings, GA; four brothers, Danny Duncan of Minden, David Duncan and wife, Sandy of Minden, Harold Duncan of Oak Hill and Raymond Duncan and wife, Pat of Oak Hill; three sisters, Joanne McCoy and husband, Dean of Charleston, Janice Krosky and husband, Mark of Charleston and Patricia Holbrook and husband, Ray of Columbus, OH; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev. Oliver Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill.
