Charles "Charlie" Ray Sexton, 55, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born May 21, 1954 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Edna J. Romage Sexton of Oak Hill, WV and the late Estel Monda Sexton, Sr. Charlie was a machine and shuttle car operator for Baylor Mining and a former member of the UMWA. Survivors include wife, Margaret Lea "Maggie" Sexton; two sons, Shawn Sexton of Oak Hill and Brian Manley of Oak Hill; one daughter, Amy Williamson of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Estel "Etchie" Sexton and two sisters, Dorothy Ray of Port Charlotte, FL and Sharon Blevins of Stanaford. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Caleb Sexton, Brian Tyler Manley, Jake Williamson and Hailey Williamson and Bryson Manley. Services will be on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Charles Tilley officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Shawn Sexton, Brian Manley, Caleb Sexton, Todd Williamson, Brandon Sexton and Mark Sexton will serve as pallbearers.
