Charles Edward Hambrick, 71, of Scarbro, WV died at his home on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Born April 19, 1942 at Ingram Branch, WV, he was a son of the late Charles S. and Ora Evelyn Lewis Hambrick. Mr. Hambrick was retired from the Fayette County Board of Education as a carpenter foreman. He was a member of the Scarbro United Methodist Church; chartered and was scout master of Troop #115 and scout master of Troop #125 for several years. He was also a U. S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Pat Hambrick and a brother, Robert Hambrick. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Carol S. Stover Hambrick; a son, Steve Hambrick and his wife, Dee of Beckley; a daughter, Sue Sharp and her husband, Mike of Oak Hill; four grandchildren, Josh Sharp and his wife, Stacey of Oak Hill, Mindi Sharp of Dunbar, Casey Hambrick and Ryan Hambrick of Beckley; three great grandchildren, Katy, Brian and Azlyn; and a brother, Mike Hambrick and his wife, Loretta of Cross Lanes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. Charles Miller and Dr. Sharon Miller officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Pallbearers will be Josh Sharp, Mike Sharp, Jeff Hambrick, Babe Stover, Max Tyree and Virgil Ivey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hospice of Southern West Virginia, P. O.
