Charles Oliver Dower , 70, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born November 01, 1942 at Mount Hope, WV he was the son of the late William Clifford and Nettie May Bane Dower. He was a retired carpenter for Vecellio and Grogan. Survivors include four children, Rosalie Molly Jarvis and husband, Denver of Mount Hope, Jason Oliver Dower and wife, Mary Beth of Ansted, Loretta Mitchell and husband, Timothy and Clifford Dower and wife, Ranjani of Mount Hope; the mother of his children, Bessie May Miller Dower; four grandchildren, Harlan Wayne Elder, III, Daniel David, II, Clifford Dower, II and Ronald Dower; and two brothers Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Sister Molly Jarvis officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Dower will be cremated following the service.
