Cecil Leon McCormick , 67, of Glen Jean, WV died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born January 03, 1949 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Cecil and Merriem Frisby McCormick.
Leon was a heavy equipment operator for the National Park Service. He was a member of the Salem Road Freewill Baptist Church, Gatewood.
Leon leaves behind a loving family which includes his wife, Patricia Ann McClung McCormick; two sons, Michael Scott McCormick and Patrick Shane McCormick and wife, Kathy; daughter, Leigh Anne Endicott and husband, Shawn; two brothers, Ronnie McCormick and wife, Patty, and Sam McCormick and wife, Terri; one sister, Cindi Carroll; seven grandchildren, Ian McCormick, Derick Sizemore, Hunter Sizemore, Calvin Endicott, Lauren Endicott, Payton McCormick and Mason Marcum; and his pet dog, Maggie - whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Mike Kees officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
