Catherine A. Lagos

Catherine Anne Lagos, 86, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her home. Born November 17, 1921 in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Macejko Novobilski. She was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lagos; two daughters, Catherine Anne Cosgrove and Betty Jean Lagos and a brother, Mike Novobilski. She is survived five sons, John E. Lagos and his wife, Mary Ann of Manassas, VA, Robert R. Lagos and his wife, Paula of Fayetteville, Frank D. Lagos of Oak Hill, James M. Lagos and his wife, Vickie of Hilltop, and Dr. Gregory Lagos of Charleston; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM Monday, March 17, 2008 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM.
