Carolyn Williams

Carolyn Jean Ash Williams,65, of Rt. 1, Scarbro, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at her home. Born December 17, 1941 at Cokeburg, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl White Ash. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Star Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Mark Williams; grandson, Jacob Matthew Williams; one brother, Ernest Ash and one sister, Shirley Rucker. Survivors include her husband, Ted Williams, one daughter, Carol Williams Ashmore of Rt. 1, Scarbro, two sons, Daniel Wayne Williams and wife, Ruth of Diamond, Matthew Scott Williams and wife, Lori of Hernshaw; grandchildren, Ronnie Ashmore and fiance, Jennifer Wriston, Amanda Donnally and husband, Danny, Cara Ashmore and fiance Reese Johnson, Ashley Williams, Joe Williams, II and Kaylie Williams; two sisters, Linda Burns of Brook Park, OH and Sandra Cay Westfall of Exchange, and 18 nieces and 15 nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Raleigh Cancer Center and Hospice of Southern West Virginia. Funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, at Red Star Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Sunderland officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 5 until 8 PM Monday at Red Star Baptist Church.
