Carol Sue Treadway Hurt

Carol Sue Treadway Hurt, age 64, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on July 27th, 2021, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born September 15th, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Treadway and Evelyn Conley Wade.

Carol worked as a bartender at Elliot's for several years. She loved horses, butterflies, gardening, and spending time with children.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Hunter and Sandra Adkins; baby brothers, Roy Treadway and Roger Treadway; brother's-in-law, Harold Adkins and Samuel Martin.

Carol will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael “Mike” Wayne Hurt; children, Matthew Evans and Evelyn Evans (Roger Hinkle); step-children, Amanda Hurt Rutledge (Alex) and Andrea Hurt Humphrey (Jamie); grandchildren, Dalton Hinkle, Alexis Rutledge, Chasity Humphrey, and Haven Humphrey; and her siblings, Linda Kincaid, Margaret Martin, and Jerry Wade (Sandra).

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 7th, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday August 8th, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
