Carmella Pizzino Mullins

Carmella Pizzino Mullins, 89, of Kansas City, MO formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Kansas City. Born April 30, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Domenica Alliotto Pizzino. Carmella moved to Oak Hill as a newlywed in 1943 and lived there until 2003. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and had worked at Kroger Food Store in Oak Hill for over 30 years. Her husband, Billy Eugene Mullins and five brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Two sons, Robert Mullins and wife, Carlene of North Richland Hills and David Mullins and wife, Mary of Kansas City, MO City, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren survive her. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM where a prayer service will be held at 6:15 PM.
