Carlos Delbert Taylor I, of Robson, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 11, 1934, in Mulberry, WV, he was the son of the late Layte Herbert and Elvie Lilly Taylor.
Carlos was a retired manager for Alloy Lumber.
He was a member and deacon of Herman William's Freewill Baptist Church at Robson and was a US Army Veteran.
A brother, Clayton Taylor, and a granddaughter, Bridgette Kincaid, preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife of 56 years, Janet Sue Shuff Taylor; son, Carlos Taylor II and wife Donna, of Fayetteville; two daughters, Carla Kincaid, and husband Greg, of Goldboro, NC, and La Fonda Anne Belmont, and husband Tod, of Boomer; two sisters, JoAnn Johnson and Jeanette Johnson both of Stephenson, WV; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, Morgan, Brooke, and Trey; and two great grandchildren, Annabelle and Mason.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Gregory Kincaid and Rev. Ron George officiating. Burial will follow at Settle Cemetery at Mulberry.
Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2015, from 6:00 P.M. To 8:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
