Carlos Lee Keaton

Carlos Lee Keaton , 75, of Bozoo, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, WV. Born June 07, 1936 at Coal City, WV he was the son of the late Aubrey Lee and Okie Oreda Nugen Keaton. He was a retired taxi and MTA bus driver. Mr. Keaton attended the Bozoo Church of God of Prophecy and was a US Army veteran. His wife, Laura Keaton and a stillborn sister, Helen Lois Keaton preceded him in death. Survivors include his former wife and caregiver, Gloria Fay Keaton of Bozoo, three children, Reda Sue Pitzer and husband, Buster of Ballard, Adah Hosey and husband, Charles of Covington, and Carlos Lee Keaton, Jr. and wife, Crystal of Hanover, three step-children, Sarah Owens of Peterstown, Shelia Gobel and husband, Junior of Peterstown and Norris Dewayne Dickens and wife, Tina of Peterstown and a brother, Charlton Keaton and wife, Marlys of Beaver. Also surviving are five grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Fred Mooney officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
