Carl Joseph Harvey

Carl Joseph Harvey, age 87, of Oak Hill, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born October 9, 1927 in Oak Hill, he was the son of the Verie and Genevieve Krantz Harvey.
Carl was the owner/operator of Harvey's Speed Shop and was also a independent claims adjuster.
He was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and served his country in WWII and the Korean War with the US Air Force.
Surviving are his son Jim Bill Harvey and wife Sharon of Bristol, VA and his daughter, Carla Arrington of Oak Hill. Also surviving are his granddaughter, Christina Epperly of Lexington, KY, his grandson, Christopher Epperly of Myrtle Beach, SC, his great granddaughter, Kailey Criss of Lexington, KY and a great grandson, Maddox Epperly of Oak Hill.
Graveside and committal services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2015 at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with Rev. David Sneed officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House
