Cana Omer Coleman, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025. 

He was born on March 19, 1936 to the late Al Cana and Ellen G. (Smith) Coleman. 

He was employed by Crounse Corporation for 43 years before retirement, on the Board of Directors of Amherst Madison, active U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Mountain State Alumni Association, Admiral of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, Kentucky Colonel, Honorary Member of Huntington District Waterways Association, and a United States Marine Veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy L. (Powers) Coleman whom he married December 22, 1954. 

He is survived by his children, Bryan D. (Donna) Coleman of Maysville, KY, Pamela C. (Eric) Bach of Maysville, Lelia C. (Clay) Brannen of Versailles, KY and Lynn C. (Dale) Harber of Maysville, KY; four grandchildren, Cana E. Pasierb, Nathan Brannen, Anna Brannen, and Coleman Harber; four great grandchildren, Aayan Pasierb, Ayla Pasierb, Lelia Villanueva, and Isabel Villaneuva. Besides his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Phyllis Alton, Ray Coleman, Claude Coleman, Juanita Coleman, Doris Erwin, and Betty Ferro. 

Funeral will be at 1 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Maysville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 11:30-1 pm on Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Maysville, Kentucky. 

Graveside service and burial will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2025 at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with Dr. Ken Krimmel officiating. 

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Wyoming County Honor Guard. 

For those wishing to attend the graveside service and burial are asked to meet at the cemetery.
