C. Thomas Quesenberry, 79, died peacefully at the Bower's Hospice House in Beckley following an extended illness. He was the son of the late Opie and Winifred Quesenberry of Lanark, WV.
Tom, a loving and caring husband, Dad and Poppy, will be missed every day by the loves of his life-- wife, Opal, daughter, Calentha and granddaughter, Molly Clendenin. He is also survived by two dear sisters, Evelyn Shanks and Carrie Kozar of New Jersey, a brother, Jack of Beckley and many nieces and nephews.
Opal, Calentha and Molly wish to extend special thanks to friends Jerry and Reva Good of Fayetteville, Matthew Wender of Oak Hill, the staff of the Fresinius Dialysis Center in Oak Hill, the professional team at the Bower's Hospice House in Beckley who made Tom's last few days on this earth joyful, and Dr. Ryan Newell, Fayette Clinic. And thanks to all of Tom's many lifelong neighbors and friends whose lives have been blessed by having known such a wonderful man.
There will be no service. A celebration of his new life will be held at a later date.
