Brenda Margaret Williams

Brenda Margaret Vargo Williams, 75, of Mount Hope passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Montgomery General Rehab and Nursing in Montgomery.

Born January 16, 1948 in Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late Steve Vargo, Sr. and Emma Jean Bennett Vargo.

Brenda worked in retail for many years, she was a born again Christian and a loyal and faithful member of the Packs Branch Baptist Church. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Pack.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving and devoted husband, Gary Williams; son, Steve Neely; 2 grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane; and brother, Steve Vargo, Jr.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Hope with Pastor Eric Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Argabright Cemetery in Pax.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.
