Brenda Kay Smith Jojola , 64, of Council Grove, KS formerly of Summerlee, WV died on Wednesday, May 04, 2011 at Council Grove Health Care Center in Council Grove, KS. Born August 14, 1946 at Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late John Raymond Smith, Sr. and Annie Blackwell Smith. She was a housekeeper for Best Western. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Raymond Smith, Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Otero of Council Grove, KS, one son, Patrick Jojola of Albuquerque, NM, six sisters, Shelby Morrison of Colorado, Geneva Smith of Oak Hill, Anna Fern Thomas of Oak Hill, Linda Neely of Oak Hill, Starlett Keith of Oak Hill and Rose Kendrick of Ohio and five brothers, Robert Smith of California, Aubrey Smith of Oak Hill, Gary Smith of Ohio, Mike Smith of Beckley and Ronald Smith of Ohio. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Cecilia Otero, Patricia Jojola, Issac Otero, Patrick Jojola, Jr., Isabel Otero, Natalie Jojola, Madelynn Otero, Denise Jojola and Celestino Jojola Graveside rites and committal services will be 2:30 PM Monday, May 9, 2011 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating.
