Bonnie R. Watters

Bonnie Ruth Davis Watters, 78, of Oak Hill, WV passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 4, 2009, at her home, with her daughter-in-law, Melissa by her side. Born April 6, 1930 at Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Everette Ward and Ida Ellen Smith Davis. Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Patrick "Pat" Watters; a son, John Watters, a daughter, Linda Watters; a brother, Alex "Dink" Davis and three sisters, Audrey Crouch, Mildred Monteau, and Opal Harvey. Survivors include her son, Michael P. Watters and wife, Melissa of Oak Hill; her daughter, Cynthia Campbell and husband, Lionel of Fayetteville; a special niece, Norma "Bo" Price of Oak Hill as well as a host of other nieces and nephews; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe and Rev. Tonya Shupe officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be men of the Jones Avenue First Church of God.
