Bob Edward Ball, 63, of Oak Hill passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born January 19, 1954 in Oak Hill he was the son of the late Robert B. and Buella Mae Tilly Guthrie.
Bob was a a retired maintenance worker for the city of Oak Hill.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolly Mae McKinney Ball; one son, Bob Ball Jr.; one brother; Randall Church; and one sister, Linda Ball Crawford.
Those left to cherish his memory included his two daughters, April Ball and companion, Justin Bryant and Crystal Ball; one son Matthew Ball, Jr.; five grandchildren, Jacob Ball, Madison Hurst, Sara Treadway, Mario Ball, and Mason Ball; and three brothers Freddie Ball, Randy Guthrie, and Jackie Guthrie.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Kenny Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
