Billy Lee Reece, Sr.

Billy Lee Reece, Sr. 66, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born August 24, 1941 at Plum Orchard, WV he was the son of the late William Reece and Lavella "Garnet" Wriston Vanover. He was retired outside foreman for WV American Water Company. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Reece, two step-brothers, Luther and Robert Aliff; a step-sister, Opal Faye Aliff; brother-in-law, Randal Lipscomb and three nephews, John Lipscomb, J.C. and Dallas Smith preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Brenda Kay Williams Reece; one son, Billy "Rast" Lee Reece, Jr. and wife, Robin Sue of Hilltop; one daughter, Robin Leanne Sinkhorn of Oak Hill; two sisters, Betty Smith and husband, Carlos of Oak Hill and Nettie Lipscomb of Perrysville, OH and by two grandchildren, Hunter Reece and Caitlin Reece. Also surviving are a nephew, Randy "Lip" Lipscomb and companion, Karon Summers of Hayesville, OH; niece, Barb Eberhardt and husband, Randy of Jeromesville, OH; great nephew, Chad Eberhardt and wife, Cora of Ohio; great nieces, Randy Kay and Amanda Jean Lipscomb and Leslie Jo Luna and husband, Baltimore all of Ohio; three great-great nephews, Coben Lipscomb and Gage and Parker Eberhardt andtwo great-great nieces, Kayedance Scott and Baylie Mortimer. Services will be on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Morris Nutter officiating. Burial will be at Tyree Cemetery, Plum Orchard WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Greg Nunn, Eugene Ratliff, Don Elder, Aubrey Smith, Jeff Mason and Paul Basham will serve as pallbearers.
