Billy Lee Johnson

Billy Lee Johnson , 79, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, June 04, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born August 24, 1934 he was the son of the late Elmer Thornton and Nina Lee Blake Johnson. Billy was a retired mechanic for the WV Department of Highways. He was a member of the Page Baptist Church. A brother, Patrick Johnson preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hilda Wolf Johnson; daughters, Rita Johnson of Robson, Diane Mitchell of Oak Hill and Barbara Burgess of Oak Hill; sons, Billy Johnson of Robson, Ross Valentine of Hanover, MI and David Valentine of Sacramento, CA; and brothers, Bob Johnson of Kincaid and Terry Johnson of Covington, VA. Billy is also survived by eight grandchildren. Graveside rites and committal will be on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow.
