Billy Ray Bowyer , 88, of Beaver, WV passed away on Sunday, October 06, 2019.
Born December 31, 1930 at Amigo, WV he was the son of the late Hubert and Thelma Ann Humphrey Bowyer.
Bill earned BS in Education from Concord College, Masters from Marshall University, and taught Math and Science for 30 years last teaching at Independence High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and computer programming.
A sister, Margaret Bowyer Sizemore and brother, Donald Sizemore preceded him in death.
Bill is survived by three nephews and one niece.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm followed by graveside rites and committal at 2:00 pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Pastor Don Kelly officiating.
