Billy Ray Ayers, Sr., 67, of Mount Hope, WV died on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born August 04, 1941 at Royal, WV he was the son of the late Orville Preston and Katherine Marie Ayers. He was a retired welder for Long Airdox of Oak Hill. Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Foster of Mount Hope and Dianna Ayers; two sons, Preston Ayers of Hico and Billy Ray Ayers of Mount Hope; sister, Anna L. Springhower of Raytown, MO; brother, Orville Ayers of Swiss; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren Services will be on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope. Burial will be at Stanaford Cemetery, Stanaford WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
