Bill Donovan Frasier , 91, of Oak Hill, WV went home to be with the good Lord and his precious wife on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Harper Mills in Beckley, WV.
Born August 10, 1925 at Middleport, OH he was the son of the late Donovan and Lenora Lawless Frasier.
Mr. Frasier was a steadfast, hard working man who provided for his family as a proud West Virginia coal miner working at Semet-Solvay (later Peabody Coal) at Harewood. He was a member of the UMWA District 17 and a World War II US Marine Corps veteran.
His wife of 57 years, Mary Frances Cooper Frasier preceded him in death on June 16, 2002. Also preceding him were two sisters, Frances Hess and Virginia Kroft.
A loving and devoted family will always cherish his wonderful memory - sons, Wayne Frasier of Myrtle Beach, SC and Gary Frasier and wife, Luetta of Oak Hill; daughters, Susan Harlan and husband, Tom of Fayetteville and Debra Ann Elizabeth Persinger of Oak Hill; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Emmitt Patterson and Father Symeon Galazka officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
