Beve G. Justice

Beve G. Justice, 94, of Hilltop, WV passed away Friday April 18, 2008 at Beckley Veterans Administration Hospital of Beckley, WV. Born March 22, 1914 at Woodsville, WV, a son of the late William and Cynthia Yates Justice. He was a retired carpenter. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, he served with the 607th Ordnance Division in France where he volunteered for duty behind the front lines. Mr. Justice was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1207 of Charleston. He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Tom, Nile, Ed, Joe, Charlie, Harry and Arthur Justice and sisters, Mima Dolen, Edith Collins and Ethel Snodgrass. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Colleen Justice and 37 nieces and nephews including Clara Warner of Oak Hill, who was his caretaker. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Dunbar, WV with military rites by American Legion #61 of Clendenin at 2:30 PM. Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the funeral home.
