Betty Louise Prather , 70, of Ansted, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, May 08, 2011 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 08, 1941 at Redstar, WV she was the daughter of the late Leverette Adonis and Rachel Johnson Prather. She was a former elementary school teacher for the Fayette County Board of Education having taught at Minden Elementary. Betty was a graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and Concord College in Athens. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Prather and wife, Sharon of Saint Albans and a sister, Christine "Chris" Harlicker of Virginia Beach, VA Funeral services will be on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill with Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
