Betty Cumbow Moyer

Betty Jo Cumbow Moyer , 83, of Stanaford, WV died on Saturday, January 08, 2011 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born March 29, 1927 at Harvey, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive Mayme Fitzgerald Cumbow. Mrs. Moyer retired with 25 years service as a certified nurse anesthetist for the VA Medical Center in Beckley She was a member of the St. Mary's United Methodist Church in Beckley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moyer Survivors include one brother, Charles Lee Cumbow and wife, Melinda of Leonardtown, MD and onr sister, Mary Ann Johnson of Oak Hill. Also surviving are nephew, Charles F. Cumbow, niece, Betty A. McDonald, grand nephew, Charles F. Cumbow, II and a grand niece, Olivia F. Cumbow. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. Sharon Miller officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Thursday, January 13, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
