Betty Martin

Betty Lee Alexander Martin 80, of Mount Hope, WV died on Wednesday, December 03, 2003 at Mary's Garden at Hidden Valley in Oak Hill, WV of natural causes. Born June 15, 1923 at Nuttalburg, WV she was the daughter of the late William Sheridan and Elizabeth Lipford Alexander. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Mount Hope Federated League, Fayette Study Club and WV Association of LPN's and was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Martin Survivors include Sons: Robert A. Martin and wife, Sharon, of Barboursville Michael M. Martin and wife, Nancy of Mount Hope Brother: Herbert Alexander of Hurricane Grandchildren: Rebecca Martin Carey and husband, Brian, of New York, NY Deidre E. Martin of Mount Hope Pamela Dawn Martino f Huntington Jennifer Martin of Denver, CO Robert A. Martin, Jr. of Denver, CO 1 great grandchild Memorial Service will be on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Hope Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jerry Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fayette County Red Cross Chapter, PO Box 355, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
