Betty Jane Johnson Lawhorn , 77, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born August 17, 1932 at Page, WV she was the daughter of the late Hubert Wirt and Jennie Bonome Johnson. Mrs. Lawhorn was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas L. "Toad" Lawhorn on March 25, 2001; son, Delbert "Bert" Lawhorn; sisters, Carolyn Smith and Ocie Elkins; brothers, Hubert Johnson and Myles Johnson.. Survivors include children, Delmas James "Butch" Lawhorn and wife, Melanie of Summersville, Pam Richards and husband, Michael of Clearwater, FL, Vicky Underwood of Oak Hill and Ellen Lawhorn of Oak Hill; brothers, Douglas Johnson and wife, Lillian of Warren, MI, Braden Johnson and wife, JoAnn of Churchill, TN and Robert Johnson and wife, Carol of Piney Flats, TN; ,5 granddaughters; 1 grandson; thirteen great grandsons and 1 great great granddaughter. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 3:15 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
