Betty Ann Hudson Johnson,70, of Mount Hope died at her home Saturday, July 24, 2004 after a long illness. Born on November 25, 1933 at Oswald, WV, she was a daughter of the late Golden William and Esther Marie Reid Arthur. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and attended the Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Leon Hudson, her first husband, Leon Hudson and her second husband, Curtis Leon Johnson; two brothers, Shirley Gene Arthur and Bill Arthur. Survivors include one son, Fred Hacker of Mount Hope; six daughters, Debra Tyler and husband, Donald of Beckley, Diane Day and husband, Freddy of Lancaster, KY, Deanna Arthur March of Mt. Airy, NC, Drema Domingues, Donna Johnson Davis and husband, Matthew, and Mary Johnson, all of Mount Hope; two brothers, Harold Arthur of Maple Fork, Rudy Arthur of Bradley,two sisters, Geneva Clay of Mount Hope and Lodema Clay of Beckley; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 27, at Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Matheny officiating. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery at Prosperity. Friends may call from noon until service time at the church on Tuesday.
