Betty J. Hochberg

Betty Jean Massey Hochberg, 61, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, September 07, 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born June 20, 1943 at Caperton, WV she was the daughter of the late Delbert Franklin and Ruby Estamae Toney Massey. She was a certified nursing assistant/caregiver for the critically ill. Mrs. Hochberg was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah Brown Wood. Survivors include daughter, Yvonne Joy Harter of Chicago, IL; son, James Edward Hochberg of Belvedire, IL; sisters, Cora West of Oak Hill, Linda Long of Mount Hope, Drema Bartol of Oak Hill, Brenda Lewis of Elyria, OH and Leona Massey of Crossville, TN; brothers, Phillip Massey of Cleveland, OH and Tim Massey of Elyria, OH; grandchildren, Nicole and Alexa Harter and Jordon, Lauren, Whitney and Maxwell Hochberg, Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, September 9, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Services will be on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
