Betty June Ward Hill , 88, of Dorothy, WV died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV.
Born April 15, 1928 at Whitesville, WV she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys Dempsey Ward.
She was a retired dietitian for Pinecrest Hospital.
Her husband, Ralph Hill; son, George Hill; sisters, Norma Jean Harvey and Mary Frances Mosier; and brother, George Ward preceded her in death.
Survivors include children, Cheryl Stanley of Colcord, Ralph (Barbara) Hill, Jr. of Artie, Michael (Helen) Hill of Workman's Creek, Richard (Ellen) Hill of Colcord, Teresa (Blaine) Meador of Dorothy, Paul (Loretta) Hill of Ameagle and Bobby (Ruth) Hill of Sylvester; daughter-in-law, Amanda Hill of Dorothy; sisters, Lanore White of Dorothy and Martha Frye of Chapmanville; two special granddaughters, Crystal Holstein and Tara Massey; twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Services will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Cecil McClellan officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
